PROFILE

The Department of English was established in 1982. It has a noble intent of reaching out to diverse students across the city. The Department offers General English, a Compulsory Component Course to B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com. programmes at Vivekananda Degree College with the intention of enhancing the language skills of the students. Since Language and Communication skills are indispensable tools the department trains the students with good communication skills in order to meet the evolving requirements of competitive era.
