  • DETERMINATION OF HEAVY METALS IN COLOURS USED IN HOLI AND ITS EFFECT ON ENVIRONMENT.
  • INFLUENCE OF MOTAR VHECULAR SERVCE STAIONS ON POLLUTION OF WATER BODIES IN RAJAJINAGAR AREA, BENAGALURU.

In addition to it awareness programmes about Lead Poison under “PARISARA PRAGNA” an Eco Club is arranged regularly for the students and society. The activities include Eco Ganesha Sapthaha, Jathas,

Awareness regarding  E-vaste Managenent and building a scientific temperament in semi urban schools is another feature taken up by the Department.

ONGOING PROJECTS

  • Determination of heavy metal contamination in commercially available Turmeric powder in Bengaluru.
  • Pollution due to automobile vehicle service stations of Bangaluru environment especially water bodies.
