Having obtained master’s degree in physics (Solid State & vacuum and thin-film Physics) with second rank in the year1986 from Venkateshwara University, Tirupathi, joined the department of Physics PES College, Bangalore during 1989. His depth of knowledge of the subject, and interaction with student community has made him a popular teacher. Has been serving the student from university level to post-graduate level. Obtained M.Phil., degree with distinction from Periyar University in 2007. Represented several academic bodies, examination boards, Board of Studies. He has sound knowledge of mathematics and expert in solving sudoku puzzles and Rubik cube.
